Fandom: Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle Age: 17 Occupation: Student Grade: Junior History: If you were to ask Syaoran to describe himself in one word, he would probably tell you that he’s just an ‘average’ guy. To a certain extent, it’s true. He lives with his dad in an average house with an average income, comes from an average town and is of an average background, and even his looks are pretty standard: brown hair, brown eyes, thin build. He fares well in school, earning pretty much straight Bs, and you’ll never find him sitting through detention or doing anything remotely delinquent in nature. In other words, he’s boring. There isn’t much about him that stands out; he’s the type of guy who sits in the back of the classroom, who girls occasionally glance at with interest—for, if nothing else, he is rather cute—but soon turn away from when they realize that he doesn’t do much of anything. He plays soccer, but is not the forward, where all the action is, nor the goalie, where all the respect lies—instead, he plays center. What people don’t realize, however, is that in a world where individuality is often valued above all else, forcing people to make themselves known by whatever means possible, the ‘normal’ folk are a dying breed. And that maybe, just maybe, normalcy isn’t always overrated, for once. For, if nothing else, Syaoran is dependable, loyal, and truly a good friend to have. It’s been eleven years since he’s been in New York, having moved away when he was eight years of age, and the city has certainly changed since he’s been there last. Everything seems to move faster, leaving him behind, and part of Syaoran wouldn’t be at all surprised if everyone who had known him when he had last lived in the area has already forgotten him. He’s actually searching for one girl in particular. She goes by the name of Sakura. |
